Summary 2.

Summary of a Full Box of Kisses

Some time ago, a man punished his three-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning. He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. But his daughter blew kisses into the box. He put his arms around his little girl, and begged for her forgiveness. In a very real sense, each of us as humans has been given a gold container filled with unconditional love. And there is no more precious possession that anyone could hold.

Summary 1.

Summary of the Graduation Present

A young man had admired a sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it. Finally, his father gave him a leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible. Many years passed and he realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. But his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. When he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports can he had desired.

Summary

Iran said that the nuclear power plants would be light-water reactors. And each capacity could generate up to 1600 megawatts of electricity. Each plant would cost US$1.7 billion and spend 11 years to construct. But Russia delayed the launch of the plant which was already eight years behind the schedule because of Iran's payment arrears. Nevertheless, Iranian officials denied any payment and accused Russia of caving in to Western pressure. In the other hand, the
Bushehr light-water reactor stood 95 % complete in 1999 and the facility was good. Construction work began in 1974 but interrupted during the 1979. And Iraq bombed the plant during its 1980-88 war with Iran.

Iran to Build Two More Nuclear Power Plants

2007/4/16
By Nasser Karimi TEHRAN, Iran, AP

Iran said Sunday it is seeking bids to build two more nuclear power plants even as the launch of its first plant is stalled amid a bitter dispute with Russia over its funding.

Ahmad Fayyazbakhsh, the deputy head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization in charge of power plants, told reporters the plants would be light-water reactors, each with the capacity to generate up to 1,600 megawatts of electricity.

Each plant would cost up to US$1.7 billion (euro1.26 billion) and take up to 11 years to construct, he said.

The announcement comes as Iran has been struggling with Russia over the funding of the country's first plant near the southern city of Bushehr.

Russia delayed the launch of the plant, which had been set for September and is already eight years behind schedule, and refused to ship uranium fuel for the reactor last month as earlier planned, citing Iran's payment arrears.

Iranian officials denied any payment delays under the US$1 billion (euro0.74 billion) contract, and accused Russia of caving in to Western pressure.

Due to have opened first in 1999, the Bushehr light-water reactor stands 95 percent complete, Iranian officials say. The facility, with its cream-colored reactor dome, overlooks the Persian Gulf and is heavily guarded, ringed with anti aircraft guns and radar stations. Troops block roads leading to the site.

Construction began in 1974 with help from then-West Germany. Work was then interrupted during the 1979 Islamic revolution that toppled the pro-Western Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and brought hard-line clerics to power. Iraq also bombed the plant during its 1980-88 war with Iran.

My favorite funny movie - Legally Blonde(Final)

Nowadays people can do a lot of different things to relax. Seeing films is one of the best choices. But movies can divide into many various types, for instance, the action movie, the love movie and the funny movie. And everyone has his or her own favorite kind of movie.

One of my favorite movies is called "Legally Blonde."(金法尤物) It is a very funny film and makes me laugh all the time when I see it. The main character is a young and beautiful girl whose name is Elle Woods. She wanted to get married with her boyfriend. But her boyfriend wanted to break up with her and had a marriage with other girl who was helpful for his future career. She still loved him and hoped that she can win him back. For this reason, she applied for the same university which her boyfriend would study in. At first, her classmates even scoffed at her because of the stupid things she did. For this reason, she studied very hard and tried to be the best one in their class. After passing through a lot of things, she knew that she didn't love him any more and had a new understanding of life.

I think Elle's personality changed a lot after she experienced so many difficulties. At first, she was just a girl who only cared about the good clothes and the shape of her body. Then, she paid attention to the other people and had a deeper realization of herself. From this film we can learn a lot because maybe some Taiwanese girls are just the same as her. I believe they will make some changes after they see this movie.

Chart

Chart 1 shows the number of people who are employees and the unemployment rate in Taiwan. The vertical axis divided into a comparison of fifteen years. As can be seen from the chart, by far the highest percentage of Taiwan's unemployment rate was in 2002. There was a very sudden increase of unemployment rate from 2000 to 2002. It reached the zenith in these year. In contrast, there was a slow decrease of unemployment rate from 2003 to 2006. According to Chart 1, the number of people who are employees was a small rise. The reason was that when the employees were adding, it meaned that the economy was booming. From this we can know that the number of people who are employees and the unemployment rate have a very close connection.
